2008 NCUST Excellence in Education Awards

Each year, NCUST identifies, recognizes, and awards high-achieving urban schools (along with their districts and other reform partners). The goals of the NCUST Excellence in Urban Education awards program are to:
Recognize the hard work, dedication, and talent of urban school educators and students; Educate the public about the accomplishments and potential of urban schools; Provide a concrete benchmark of excellence that motivates reform efforts; and Deepen the knowledge base of best practices for promoting urban school transformation.

The community of PS 62 is proud to have met the rigorous criteria and be included among 53 schools nationwide to be on the National Center for Urban School Transformation's Honor Roll.
